Basically what the virus does: It says that your computer has a bunch of viruses/infections and it can remove them if you only try the software for a year (OVER $50!!). It'll scan and say that you need the lifetime package (OVER $70!!!) in order to get rid of all the infections. The best part, some fat guy sitting in his mama's basement gets your money and YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
The hard part about removing this virus: You can't get your own, paid for, security system to wipe it out. It blocks certain programs from launching, like McAfee, Ad-ware, Spybot, and your all improtant Task Manager, saying that they all have a worm of some sort. Annoying pop-ups will appear, saying that it's infected with a worm and it's trying to get your credit card info from a remote location or some junk like that.
It was a pretty annoying two days. But with the help of my brother, my brother's friend, my dad, and some lady who works at Dell, we fixed the problem and I have a better security system than McAfee!! WOOHOOO!!!
So yeah. That's what happened. Sorry that I wasn't able to respond to some of your comments faster (which I usually do...unless it's my other e-mail account that I should probably check. I'll have lots of hate mail, lol.)
